Following on from my post about fun filled afternoons : fruit picking, I thought I would turn this into a little mini summer series, full of fun, free, cheap and easy things to fill an afternoon/day/evening in the summer with.
Another free and fun thing to do is to be in the audience of a tv show! My friend applied for lots of tickets on applause store and got us tickets to be in the audience for the new Through The Keyhole, presented by the amazing Keith Lemon.
Although this was an evening thing, i guess it still counts as a fun filled afternoon as we left at around 2:30 as doors were at 6:45, we had about a 40 minute drive and we ended up being the first car there! Luckily my lovely friend drove and we paid £4 each in petrol and that’s it. So a super fun and cheap evening. Even though the tickets are free, in a way you pay for it in time. As we got there around 3:20 and went into the studios at about 6:30! We had a nice little picnic and chat to fill the time.
It was so exciting, and the studio was AMAZING, I loved the set, covered in giant, glittery keys! The celeb panel consisted of Martine Mcutcheon, Eamon Holmes and Dave Berry! I won’t ruin it and say who’s houses they went into, but they were a good bunch of celebs!! I tried to take some sneaky photos of the set but they came out all rubbish and blurry!!
It was a really fun day, and something I really recommend!
Have any of you been to watch a tv show be filmed? What tv shows are you looking forward to in the upcoming months?
