British Summer is fully upon us and with the August bank holiday weekend just around the corner it’s hard to not wish we were having a slightly warmer, less rainy summer, but this is the UK and that’s summer for us! I’ve collaborated with the lovely people over at Mr Kipling to share my fun summer plans and a super fun giveaway, where you can win a cherry bakewell inflatable and cakes, yes you read that right!
Although the August bank holiday is at the end of the week (WHERE did that come from?), summer isn’t over quite yet and i’ve got lots of fun things planned until the end of September, living that summer dream forever. So what have I got planned?
New Hair
Next Sunday I’ve got an appointment at Headmasters in Windsor and i’m going to do something fun with my hair. Not candyfloss pink fun, but something that’s not just block brown fun. So keep your eyes on my Instagram for that and if you have any hair inspo, send it my way!
Med Sailors Croatia
Of course my main summer plan is my sailing adventure with Laura! We’re going on a Med Sailors holiday on the 16th of September for a week and I can’t wait, I’m even planning on taking my own cherry bakewell inflatable with me! I can’t wait for a week of sun, sea and fun with one of my favourite ladies in my life, as well as making new friends and having a great week.
Food and Drink
It wouldn’t be summer without a few BBQs, picnic feasts, pimms and gins would it? The new Mr Kipling limited edition summer range, including Strawberry Cheesecake Whirls, Trifle Slices and the return of the much loved Strawberries & Cream Fancies are the perfect summer sweet treat that you need in your life. Bank Holiday weekends for me are allll about the good food and drink with friends and I plan on spending mine indulging with my favourite people.
Getting Back into Blogging
You might not have noticed, but I’ve been pretty shoddy on the blogging front for a few months now, averaging a post a week, which sort of upsets me. I have so many ideas for content but until the last week or so, which coincidentally is when my laptop died for a week and then came back to life, is when I sort of got my mojo back. I’ve been itching to rite, but because I have so many ideas I’ve been finding it difficult to figure out where to begin. So fingers crossed you’ll be seeing a bit more from me from now on. I really love blogging and I’ve got some really fun events both local and in London coming up, as well as some great cruelty free reviews and finds and more!
