It’s no secret that Valentines Day is fast approaching. The romantic displays with giant teddy bears and cards are out in full force, and they’ve even made me go ERGH this year whilst walking past one. Things are that bad’ But as much as I whinge and moan about being single for Valentines, it’s not that important and tbh it’s just another great excuse to treat yourself, remember why you love you and your gal pals and just feel loved up with life (cringe I know). So this Valentines I’ve put together a little post filled with some lovely bits that have made me feel great, because why should I be left out of all this fun love stuff just because i’m single?
Crabtree & Evelyn do enjoyable luxurious treats well. And their adorable and delicious limited edition all butter Rose and White Chocolate Biscuits (RRP £5) are the perfect indulgent treat for a hot chocolate, tea, or inhaling in front of a film. I also love a Crabtree & Evelyn hand cream and these cutesie 25g ultra-moisturising hand therapy hand creams (RRP £6) are perfect to throw in your handbag or pop into your galentines cards. Just me that does that? The lovely babes at The English Soap Company sent me a little bundle of goodies, including some Hotel Chocolat Love Potion liqeur chocolates, which lasted all of 5 minutes (sorry not sorry) and these two lovely ‘for the one I love’ shea butter soaps, which are really luxurious and smell lovely
In January I received my first proper adult pay day and the first thing I did was purchase the brand new Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lippy in the shade Pillowtalk. AKA my fave lip liner everrrr in lipstick form. Insert ALLL of the heart eye emojis. It’s my new fave thing and easily transforms me from a troll to a troll with perfect lips and a touch more confidence. The best part was that my order came packaged SO beautifully, like an actuall gift to myself, and with SIX generous samples. Including a mini perfume sample in one of those super handly little squirty tubes, a lippy sample, a sample of Charlottes Magic Cream, Magic Eye Rescue, Wonder Glow and Godess Skin Clay Mask. I’m going to post a more in depth review at a later date. But believe me, this shade is a MUST HAVE and seriously you do not need a guy in your life if you have this bad boy.
Who said that Valentines has to be just for those in lovey dovey relatiionships – you go ahead and spoil yourself with a new lippy, yummy chocolates and biscuits, makeup and pampering treats – you deserve it!
