I was recently reading Fee’s blog and I saw her post all about the Feel Unique Pick ‘N’ Mix service, which IMO not enough people know about, or it was just me that had no idea of its existence! Prompted by Fee and her post, I placed an order myself and I thought I would share my experience, and the samples I chose. The service allows you once a month to choose a selection of 5 free samples, where you only pay the £3.95 shipping and handling fee. You then get this cost back as a voucher which can be redeemed on your next Feel Unique purchase (however you can’t use it towards your next pick n mix). The samples aren’t all crummy samples that no-one wants either, there is a massive selection of brands, products and sample types, from perfume vials, to sachets, to pots, tubs, tubes and mini’s. I had a good browse of the available samples and decided to go for some products i’ve wanted to try for a while, and some new products.
Bare Minerals Marvellous Moxie Lipgloss in Maverick – 2.25ml
This super, super generous 2.25ml sample of this lip gloss, is in my opinion worth the £3.95 in itself. I love this gloss, and it is the PERFECT clutchbag size, i’ve been carting it around with me everywhere. I haven’t tried Bare Minerals glosses before, and was really impressed with the super shine of the gloss, the strong colour, and how well it lasted. I think i’ve found a new A/W lipgloss!
Ren Invisible Pores Detox Mask – 5ml
I love REN products, and I love any mask that can detox pores, so this sample was a winner for me. I got about 3-5 uses out of this, and thoroughly enjoyed using it as a mid week pore busting mask, and would also definitely purchase in the future.
Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream -15ml,
I love Caudalie, and I thought this generous little tube would be super handy for my hand bag as my hands get so dry in this weather and I always forget to put a hand cream in my bag, so now I have no excuse. It’s also a lovely hand cream and the smell is so nice and light, which is something I like from a hand cream.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo(+) – 3ml
This La Roche-Posay product is a product I have meant to try FOREVER and is raved about by bloggers galore. I was super excited to try this out, and whilst this was the least generous sized sample (I really had to squeeze this tube, and then cut it open to get any product out), I did like it, however I would like to try it out a little more.
Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Rose Eau De Parfum – 1.5ml.
I love little spray vials like this, as they’re a great way to test out a new scent for a week or so, or to keep in your makeup bag whilst you’re out and about. I like Juicy Couture scents as they’re typically quite sweet and fruity and this scent is no different, and i’ve really like it. Also the bottle of the full size is INCREDIBLE.
The service is super simple to use and you can search the samples by brand, product type and sample type. So to make the most I browsed the vials, tubes and pots, as I feel you get more out of these samples, and they’re also easier to use and use for travel as well.
Have you used this service before?
