It’s finally sort of Christmas season, and i’ve already got m festive hat firmly on, and I can’t get enough of all the Christmassy stuff hitting shops. Homesense (the homey version of TK Maxx) is the most magical place at this time of year. I decided to pop in to peruse their Christmas decorations, accessories and general bits and bobs one Monday afternoon and walked away with a few goodies that I thought I would share.
There were so so many gorgeous things in Homesense that I spent over an hour int he shop and could easily have walked away with a van full of goodies. However I restrained myself and settled on a lovely Simply Home Yankee Candle in Christmas Baking (£9.99). This candle just smells SO festive, it’s a lovely rich, warm, spicey scent, that also has a sweet edge to it, making it divine! The main reason for my Homesense adventure was that I was after a festive-ish throw or cushions for my bed, to jazz it up slightly in the run up to Christmas. I found this lovely red, grey and beige throw for £19.99 and it is so lovely and soft, and looks lovely at the end of my bed. I also got some cute white wood star fairy lights for £3.99. a cute white shabby chic style tealight holder (£3.99) and some sweet festive cookie cutter for £4.99. I;m so so happy with my purchases, and in particular the gorgeous phone case, it’s like a plasticy rubber and the sparkles and pink is right up my street. I also love love my tartan throw, it goes so well with my white and grey Ikea sheets and adds the perfect touch of festiveness to my bed.
Have you been going Christmas mad too? Or is it just me…
