Tanya Burr and Zoella Beauty Products

I am a massive fan of Team Internet, and seeing the incredible brands that a lot of girl bosses are creating for themselves is really inspiring. I’m not a massive fan girl in itself, but I do feel proud of the YouTubers and bloggers killing it right now, and all the amazing things they’re doing. So today I am sharing a few of my top picks from the Tanya Burr range and one sneaky Zoella fave too! I’ll start with the one Zoella product that I adore, the Le Fizz fragranced bath fizzer (£5). I like this bath product as I find that it a) doesn’t irritate my skin and b) it’s a no frills bath product. It’s super simple to use, the novelty fizz is fun and the macaron scent is really nice too. I find these bars last forever, as you simply break off however many squares you want to use (like a giant bath fizzer chocolate bar), and it’s easy to wrap back up so make sure the rest don’t get wet.

Now, onto one of my fave YouTube/Blogger ranges, the Tanya Burr range. I think that due to her makeup artist background and passion for beauty, the Tanya Burr range is really well thought out, the packaging lovely (I love the packaging changes), and the products are pretty but practical, and all very affordable too. I’ve been a subscriber of Tanya Burr’s channel for a long time now, so it’s lovely to see her range evolve and grow, and I think that the names of her products are also always really cute. I decided to try out two of her lip products, one gloss and one matte.

I am not a giant fan of matte lip shades unless they’re of the dusky pink/nude variety, and the shade Martha Moo is just that. I really love the shape of the rounded rectangular applicator, the pigmentation and the longevity. These matte shades don’t budge and if you do find you need to touch it up, it doesn’t affect the underneath layers (I find some matte lips once built up go a little crumbly). I love how versatile this is and it’s been a permanent resident of the bottom of my handbag for a while now. The other lip product I tried was the gloss in the shade Picnic in The Park, another lip fave. This shade is a lovely sheer but buildable, everyday glossy pink and I have also found myself reaching for this quite a lot.

The next few Tanya Burr Products I tried were the matte nail polish in Soft Pyjamas, which is a lovely colour but I can’t stand matte nails, some lashes and the peachy glow palette.

The Peachy Glow Cheek Palette is a really lovely product. I love the magnetic packaging, and on the back are some of Tanyas top tips for applying the inside product. The palette includes a beach bronze, apricot flush and champagne shimmer. A bronze, blush and highlight. I love how the pans are textured with stripes, hearts and stars. The bronze is my sorta bronze, and although it has a tiny bit if gold shimmer running through it, this doesn’t totally transfer onto the cheeks and is lovely for a beachy bronze glow. I particularly like the peachy blush and especially the champagne shimmer, which is just that. A champagne highlighter that won’t leave you looking like a disco ball, but lovely and highlighted. The shades in the palette all go really well with each other and I think they would make a lovely addition to most peoples makeup collection.

Now I love a lash, and I have tried the Tanya Burr lashes in the past before they got repackaged etc and I liked them. I tried out the date night lashes and inidividual lashes. Individal lashes are just super handy to have on hand for adding into any look. Whether you just want a few on your outer lashes for a fluttery look, or you want to create a unique bespoke lash look and the ones by Tanya Burr are very nice and easy to use. I especially really liked the Date Night Lashes as the band is super thin and flexible and the lashes themselves are really lightweight and fluttery, you really can’t tell you’re wearing them because they feel so natural, and they look so lovely.

You can find both Tanya Burr and Zoella products online at Feel Unique or in store in Superdrug too! Have you tried anything from either of these ladies?
