As you all know, I am not always totally keen on publishing photos of myself wearing outfits, so rarely write about fashion, even though I love the subject. Which is a bit of a shame, as a result, I have been wracking my brain trying to find a way to incorporate more fashion posts without the need to take, and publish, full-length photos of myself. The result of my head scratching is this post, which is a roundup of going out tops for this autumn’s season and I am pleased to report that there are lots of different styles of party tops available. As you will see, there really is something for everyone.
Lacy numbers – Just like in the summer, lace is still widely used. These are a great option for a party.Tunic tops –There are some lovely tunic tops available. I saw both short and long sleeved versions on several websites. This cut is great if you have a curvy figure, and are looking for something that will flatter. If you like thigh length blouses and jumpers, you should also check out Bardot tops. This cut is far more figure hugging than the tunic cut, but if you have the confidence to wear this style it will accentuate your feminine curves. Cami tops are also thigh length. There are not as many of this style available, but the ones I have seen are very pretty, so if you are looking for something a little different it is well worth seeking them out. Wrap tops – During the summer, wrap tops were very popular, so it is nice to see designers including them in their autumn and winter collections. This style is a particularly versatile one, so it is well worth adding a couple of this type of top to your wardrobe.
Glamorous off the shoulder tops, If it is glamour that you are after, I highly recommend that you take a look at off the shoulder tops. For those who are not keen on this exact style, there is also plenty of strappy and cold shoulder tops available. Do not be put off buying this type of top by the fact that we are about to enter the colder months. You can always wear a jacket over the top, and take that off when you get inside in the warm. They look great, and are a good option for a party. While I am on the subject of parties, I must mention glittery metallic tops. These are great. There are also some lovely beaded designs out there that are fun and good to wear to a party. Shell tops, there are also some nice shell tops available. These are colourful, lightweight, and crease resistant. During the winter months, you can still wear these uber light blouses. All you need to do is to invest in some cotton tees to wear underneath, to keep yourself warm.
