I haven’t done a haircare type routine in forever (in fact, have I ever done one?) and I am currently loving my haircare routine, as my hair right now has never been so thick and healthy so I just had to share how I’ve been maintaining it! I wash my hair between 3-4 times a week, dependent on what’s going on, such as events etc, and whether I can really get away with slightly dirty hair. On hair wash days I wash my hair typically in the evening (on a work night) and use the Tresemme Scalp Renweal shampoo and conditioner as I have a fairly sensitive scalp, and find this works a treat on my hair. I then pop my wet hair up in a towel whilst I potter about a bit, then I let it all out, spritz the brand new Dr PawPaw It Does It All 7-in-1 Hair Treatment Styler throughout my hair to act as a detangle. I leave it for a few minutes to work it’s magic and then brush through with my wet brush, following up with a few drops of the Nioxin Night Density Rescue, (post on that here), which omg is AMAZING. Like, I had baby hairs sprouting out of my parting and thought they were flyaways to then realise they’re actually brand new hairs, so now I kinda feel like one of those potato head cress plant things. But anyway, after i’ve popped a few drops of that on my scalp and massaged into my scalp a little, I let that sit for a few minutes. I either then leave my hair to completely air dry (which is what I manage to do most of the time) or if i’m pressed for time/want to get to bed, I spray some of the got2b Mind Blowing Fast Dry Hairspray throughout my hair, wait a few mins, and blowdry with my Panasonic EH-NA65 Hair Dryer, which is AMAZING. It dries my hair super fast and the invisible nanoe technology supplements the hair and scalp with additional moisture, preventing dryness and maintaining smooth, shiny hair and a healthy scalp. I also love that this hair dryer has 3 speed and heat settings, cool shot, log cord, as well as a condenser nozzle, diffuser and a quick dry nozzle for super speedy, effective drying. It’s also got some pink on it, which yano, awesome. Oh yeah also this is currently BETTER than 1/2 price online right now, which is SUCH a steal.
I tend to use minimal heat on my hair, blow drying my hair if I really have to, or if i’m going out somewhere nice. I also like to leave my hair to air dry, and then if it needs some sprucing up, I then use my Panasonic EH-HS95 Nanoe Hair Straighteners (which are also in an insane sale with £130 off of the RRP, making them just £69.99!!), as it makes me feel like i’ve tried my best to not use heat. Sort of. These straighteners are fabbb as they use nanoe particles generated from air holes at the tip of its ceramic coated iron plates to ensure glossy straight/or curly hair. The advanced stable heater prevents the ceramic iron plates from lowering in temp and improves hairs straightening performance by 35%. With 5 temp settings to match the condition of your hair, or it’s needs, the straighteners also has an intelligent sensing system that cools down the plates when they’re not used for a period of time. The super sleek ceramic coated plates are suchhh a dream and these straighteners have fast become my go to hair tool!
So there you go, that is currently my everyday haircare routine, including products and tools that I use! What are your everyday haircare essentials?
