When I first started blogging I used to live for the #bbloggers chats as they allowed me a way to discover and engage with fellow bloggers who had a similar interest to mine, all things beauty. Throughout my years of being an on and off beauty blogger I’ve found it hard to stick to regular chats as life, and such gets in the way, and I find when I partake in a chat after a while – I have missed them, so I am trying to make a more conscious effort to make time to take part in such chats. In a recent Sunday evening chat I asked for recommendations for products that would add a little lift and volume to hair that is often quite shiny and light once washed. Quite a few great products were recommended to me, but one brand that cropped up over and over, was Fudge Urban. Fudge Urban isn’t a brand that I know too well, and have only tried their colour chalks and volumising powder styler in the post (posts here & here), which I really enjoyed and got along with, so I was intrigued to try more by the brand. I decided to try both the Fudge Dry Shampoo and Fudge Urban Crisp Pear & Sweet Vanilla Texture Spray, two products that I could definitely see myself getting along with.
I love a good dry shampoo, and I’m surprised it has taken this long for the Fudge Dry Shampoo to make it’s way into my life. It works like a standard dry shampoo, spray into the scalp (and lengths if you wish), massage through, leave for a few minutes, brush through to remove any residue, and voila perfect hair, right? CORRECT. I have been ALL over this dry shampoo, like a bad heat induced eczema rash, and it is definitely a product I would purchase again once it runs out; although the can feels pretty hefty and I think it will definitely last me a while.
The Fudge Urban Crisp Pear & Sweet Vanilla Texture Spray on paper sounds like my beloved Charles Worthington Volume and Bounce Texturising Spray (which I ADORE), but irl is just a little bit more strengthening and long lasting – so they’re actually 2 great volumising products to have in your collection as they can both offer totally different things. The Fudge offering a) smells INCREDIBLE, b) the can is pink and c) offers incredible volume, and texture from just a few small spritzs that last ALL DAY LONG.
Have you tried any products from Fudge, what are your faves? What are your fave volumising hair products right now?
