( a) Ignore the different editing in both photos and b) Yes I forgot to put mascara on my bottom lashes, lolll)
A few weeks ago I went to a really cool launch for the new Max Factor Voluptuous False Lash Effect Mascara at the incredible ME Hotel near Charing Cross where I got to meet the gorgeous Caroline Barnes (a Max Factor Make-Up Artst), enjoy a glass of champagne and get to know some of the new Maxfactor products. I love mascaras (I know I literally say it in every post, but honestly I love ’em) and Max Factor are one of my go-to mascara brands as they never disappoint. The latest Lash Uplift Brush design lifts lashes for 5x more volume, thanks to its unique helix shaped dimensions. Composed of alternating fins and bristles, the brush catches and grips each individual lash, lifting from the base, then coats and combs every single lash with the formula. Resulting in lifted, volumised and separated lashes which glamorously frame and open the eyes. I really like the boost tip on the brush as it helps you coat more of the tiny hard to reach lashes such as ones in the inner corner and to define those outer lashes too. I’ve found that this mascara really lifts my lashes for a more awake look, and more importantly, at the end of the day, the curl is still in place and my lashes look as good as they did in the morning.
Other gorgeous releases from Max Factor include the Masterpiece Nude Palette in 03 Rose Nudes, a gorgeous silky smooth palette with 8 creamy and high quality rose toned neutral shadows, perfect for both everyday and more dramatic night time looks. The Marilyn Monroe Lipstick Collection is another welcome addition to the brand and features 4 super glam red shades in an assortment of tones to suit every mood, and complexion. My faves are 2 Sunset Red, super bright orange toned red and 4 Cabernet, a fab deep, blue toned red with a glam, subtle glitter running through it.The last addition to the brand included the Masterpiece high Precision Liquid Eyeliner, a classic black eyeliner with a flat pointed nib which allows control and flexibility when creating flicks and eyeliner looks.
Have you tried anything new from Max Factor recently, what do you think of the mascara, would you try it?
