Bioderma, oh Bioderma. Where to begin. Bioderma is raved about by literally everyone, everywhere, but the whole micellar cleansing water thing just never worked for me and I just couldn’t get to grips with it. However, when I saw Bioderma were launching some wipes, I thought I would give them a go, to see if they could change my opinion on micellar water.

I was super excited to try these as I don’t really get on with the standard micellar water. I found the packaging good, as it is a pretty sturdy pack of wipes and the sticky bit that keeps the wipes intact and moist is very good at doing its job. I found the wipes a bit rigid at first, but I think thats just how the top few are, and once I got through the pack a little more, found them more flexible. They did a good job at removing my daily makeup, including eye makeup, but not a great job, and after using cleanser afterwards – found it hadn’t really done that much. I found it seemed to remove my base makeup well, and my eye makeup okay, but there was still some residue and my eyes did not feel totally clean. I also found that whilst my face felt a little tight after use, which only went away after using an evening serum and moisturiser. Whilst I enjoyed trying out the wipes, and found them okay, I probably wouldn’t shell out the £7 for a pack, and would stick to my fave Johnson ones. I feel like these would work best for people who wear little to no makeup, or on days where you go makeup free, at cleansing the face but not necessarily makeup removal.
Do you love Bioderma and micellar waters? Are you excited for these wipes?
