As I’ve gotten older, I’ve found I prefer dainty simple studs for everyday wear to the clunky statement earrings I used to wear. I discovered Alex Clamp online, and after a few e-mails grew to love her ethos. Alex started making jewellery after being inspired by her mother making proper silver hand cut shaped jewellery, and in her final year of studying fashion & French, looked at jewellery as an accessory and her love grew from there. After going on a course at Birmingham School of Jewellery and gaining a National Diploma, this love for jewellery combined with an inspiration from flowers and plants from Alexs own herb and veggie plot, combined with things around her, has lead to a gorgeous online shop. Alex has now set up her own brand and website and offers gorgeous handmade pieces that are finished (engraved or stone-set) by Alex herself. She does anything from small or dainty pieces, to big and statement pieces, and even once made a handsized spider ring once!

I love how simple they are, yet they really add a lovely finish to any outfit and I have received so many compliments on them. They’re perfect for everyday wear to work or interviews, and also add a nice touch of glitz and glamour to an evening outfit too, I love how versatile they are.
