An Intro To Tweezerman

A month or so ago I found out I had been nominated for a Beauty Blogger Award, in the ‘Best Established Blog’ category (crazy, I know). The Beauty Blogger Awards were new this year and took place on the exhibition stage at the Pillar Hall at the Olympia Exhibition Centre in London on Sunday 4th October 2015. The awards themselves were part of a fab 2 day event which features exclusive beauty product launches from some of the biggest brands the UK has to offer, as well as free workshops, talks and demonstrations to inspire attendees. The event was great, but unfortunately I didn’t win my category, but a very deserving winner did. As Tweezerman were the sponsor for my category they sent me a few goodies to play around with and I thought I would share a few of my favourite finds.I once had a pair of Tweezerman tweezers a while ago, lost them and then never thought about dishing out the pennies to buy another pair and instead opted for a bargain Boots own brand pair which worked just fine. However, everyone knows that Tweezerman are the cult classic Tweezer and tool brand, so I was excited to give them another try.

The Slant Tweezers are a classic and with many colours to choose from, they’re the perfect beauty tool. I have two pairs one in Neon Pink, which is amaaazing, and a pair in Signature Red which are engraved with my blog name on one side, and my name on the other side – the loveliest pair of tweezers ever! Tweezerman recommend to ease tweezing, take a hot shower or use a warm washcloth to open pores and tweeze in the direction of hair growth to avoid breakage. To close pores after tweezing, simply use cold water, astringent, or the Tweezerman After Tweeze!

As well as tweezers, Tweezerman also host a whole bunch of eye tool accessories, including the Classic Lash Curler and I was intrigued to see how it compared alongside my fave No.7 curlers. This best-selling curler is expertly crafted to create beautifully enduring curl. The silicone lash pad is thick and round to form a more intense curl without ever creasing lashes. Simply open eyes wide to insert any centre lashes, with curler pad positioned at the base of your lash line, hold handles firmly and gently squeeze. Hold for a few seconds, then open curler slowly to completely release lashes. Repeat for an even more intense curl. I found these fared well and worked well to curl my pretty straight lashes, and worked well to open up my eyes, but my no.7 pare are still my faves.

Have you tried Tweezerman before? What are your favourite Tweezers?
