Makeup On A Shoestring With New Look Beauty

I love trying out new beauty brands, so when New Look got in touch and offered me the chance to try a few products from their beauty range; including own brand Pure Colour and well known brands such as Eylure and Elegant Touch I was pretty excited. All the items I opted for fall into the pretty stereotypical summer shades of coral and pink, perfect colours to go with a tan. The New Look Pure Colour range is really fab, pretty and affordable, with everyday products such as mascara, foundation, nail polishes and eyeliners, as well as some eyeshadow palettes and gorgeous baked eyeshadows, bronzers and highlighters. I was also pretty pleased to see two of my favourite brands Elegant Touch and Eylure featured in their beauty section, with some fab offers too.

I was quickly drawn to the Pure Colour Lipgloss in Watermelon, it’s the perfect bright coral/watermelon beach, holiday shade (the photo doesn’t do it justice), the formula is lovely and the packaging is sleek, perfect for just £3.99! The Pure Colour Nail polish range is a nail range that I haven’t tried before, so I was eager to try their polishes out. I decided to try out the shade Candy Pink, a beautiful creamy baby pink that looks perfect with a tan and I was pleasantly surprised to the formula, they really remind me of the Topshop polishes. The Pure Colour 2 Pack of Blending Sponges also caught my eye as I love a good makeup sponge and whilst these are super affordable, they’re also pretty good and aside from looking good in your makeup bag work well to blend in concealer and foundation in every nook and cranny on your face. I try not to be matchy matchy, but inevitably when it’s summer i’m normally accessorised head to toe in some form of pink or coral, and also matchy matchy naturally occurs. These Elegant Touch Pink Waikiki Beach Nails are the perfect holiday essential, you won’t need to top up the colour and should one fling off, there’s a few spares in the pack. As well as Elegant Touch, New Look stock Eylure, my favourite fake lash brand, I spotted on the site this fab two pack of the Eylure 101 lashes, a personal fave, for just £5.99 and with a single pack costing £4.99, it was a no brainer!

So there you go, makeup on a shoestring from New Look beauty, including the lovely Pure Colour, Elegant Touch and Eylure. What did you think, have you tried any of these brands, what did you think about them? Check out New Look Beauty here!
