Younique is a brand that is often labelled the herbalife of the online beauty world, however after being properly introduced to the brand by my sisters friend, she quickly blew away any of those impressions. We had a little chat and decided that I should try out the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes* Mascara and Lucrative Lipgloss in ‘Loveable’* and I was excited to try them out.
The Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes is one of Youniques best selling products and the younique (I couldn’t help it) concept is quite fun, and really works. The product was really easy to use, simply apply the larger tube of Transplanting Gel to your lashes like a normal mascara, following up with the natural fibres. You can repeat these steps a couple of times, however I found it best to add a coat or two of my normal mascara before starting this process, and then I really loved the effect. I found that the fibres really added volume and length to my lashes, but found I definitely had to curl them beforehand which was fine really as the length and volume that was added was worth it! I also love the little case the products come in, a luxurious black quilted snap shut case (similar to a glasses case) with elastic to keep the tubes in place, genius.
The second product I tried out was the Lucrative Lipgloss in Loveable, a warm, milky baby pink shade. The formulation was smooth and very pigmented, and whilst there was a little stick to the gloss, I do quite like it and it wasn’t too sticky! I love the packaging, and the tube looks really elegant and sophisticated! The applicator is also really fab as it features a flat sided applicator, which made application smooth and simple. The gloss also features a mirror on the side of the tube, so application on the go is a breeze!
Overall I was really happy I got to try some lovely Younique products and I can see why the Moodstruck 3D fibres are such a big seller, they really work and are amazing!
If you want to learn more about Younique or if you’re local to Berkshire then definitely get in touch with the lovely Sian who introduced me to everything Younique!
Have you tried anything from Younique before? If you haven’t, what would you try?
