The Charles Worthington Volume and Bounce is one of my all time favourite hair ranges on the high street. You can nearly always buy the products on offer in Boots or online (they’re 3for2 at the moment in Boots) and they achieve just what they say!
At the recent Cinderella premiere, the whole cast looked incredible but Hayley Attwell’s classic voluminous wave hair style was my favourite and I thought I would try to recreate the look to share with you guys! I also really want to do this hair style for my graduation as well, so it made for the perfect practice.
First up, I washed my hair using the Charles Worthington Volume and Bounce Shampoo and Conditioner*. Afterwards I towel dried my hair and then added two handfuls (don’t be afraid of the amount, it shrinks down to nothing!) of the Body Booster Mousse*throughout the hair to give texture and hold. Now it’s the fun part! Blow dry hair in small even sections using a round brush, securing into pin curls as you go. Set the curls for 30 minutes, until cool, to allow curls to hold for longer. Once set, carefully take the pins out and create a low side parting, spray the texture spray* into roots and brush curls out loosely and gently, whilst teasing ends with fingers. To finish the look, spritz with Style Setter Brush Out Hairspray. Whilst this method does work, it didn’t work as well as I liked on my hair type, so I went in with my straighteners to curl parts, which I then brushed out.
Overall I loved the look, and the texture spray is one of my all time favourite texturising sprays, it works SO well! I think i’ll be sporting a similar look to this at my graduation, what do you think?
What has been your favourite hair style lately what do you think of this look?
