Lately one of my favourite parts of beauty has been skincare, and this A-Derma specialist range has been my new fave thing. From Pierre Fabre Laboratories, the makers of Eau Thermale Avène and KLORANE, comes a new French Pharmacy range of skincare for women: A-Derma facial skincare for delicate skin. I have really sensitive combination skin with occasional flare ups of eczema, so a range that caters towards this is always worth a try in my eyes.
A-DERMA Sensifluid Cleansing Micellar Water (£13, 250ml) is an easy to use, no-rinse, gentle cleansing water harnessing the decongesting and softening properties of Witch Hazel, alongside the soothing Rhealba® Oat extract. Apply the formula to a cotton pad to cleanse and remove make-up, leaving a fresh and radiant complexion. This has been my favourite product of the range, it has transformed my skin and I will definitely be repurchasing!
A-DERMA Hydralba Light Hydrating UV Cream (£14.50, 40ml), has the same gentle, hydrating Hydralba formula but with added SPF20, UVA9 and UVB protection. The formulations (with and without UV) are available in a choice of two textures: Hydralba Light Hydrating Cream for normal to combination skin and Hydralba Rich Hydrating Cream for dry skin. I trialled the light version and it was a perfect cream. I think people underestimate the qualities of UV in a day cream, and I’ve also been loving this!
A-DERMA Nutrialba Nourishing Cream (£20, 40ml) is a velvety rich cream to nourish, soothe and protect dry and very dry fragile skin. Rhealba Oat Seedling extract has hydrating and protecting properties, whilst fatty acids extracted from shea butter and safflower oil add extra nourishing comfort to dry skin. Dry, flaky skin is visibly improved after one week of application and after 21 days of using Nutrialba Nourishing Cream 98% of people found their skin softer and 99% reported that their skin was intensely nourished. I agree with there claims and I found that my skin drank up this nourishing cream and when I went nights without applying this before bed, my skin did suffer a little.
A-DERMA Rheacalm Light and Rich Soothing Cream (£14.50, 40ml) soothe and hydrate fragile skin that can be reactive and intolerant, offering both instant and long-lasting relief. The formula combines Rhealba® Oat Seedling extract to soothe and strengthen the skin’s defences, alongside anti-free radical Vitamin E and emollients to moisturise and nourish. This was the perfect lightweight, moisturising day cream, and again my skin drank this up.
Overall I can’t fault the A-Derma range and it’s fab to see a range so perfectly catered towards senesitive prone skin, like mine! I had zero flare ups or break outs and I will definitely continue using the products and repurchasing!
