One of the main reasons I am so afraid of lipsticks and bright colours is because I have a really thin top lip and to me, when I wear a bright colour I look a bit lopsided. I’ve tried the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Extreme Plumping Lip Gloss, review here, and it opened up my eyes to the plumping lips world and this Pouty Lipzz Plumping Lip Gloss* follows the same lines.
Completely new to the UK, Pouty Lipzz’s proven formulation claims to give you plumpscious super-model lips with up to 40% more volume all from a plumping gloss. It’s delicate mint flavour makes the mouth feel fresher and pleasantly tingly as it starts to increase the volume and contour of your lips. The gloss can be worn alone, or with a lip colour applied over the top. It is recommended for best results to apply 3 times a day.
Whilst the flavour is indeed delicate, it did have a slightly mint-choc scent/flavour (I quite like this, but just a warning!) The gloss itself is nice and thick, glides on easily and doesn’t slide off your lips whilst remaining smooth and stick-free. As my bottom lip is plump enough for me, I’ve been enjoying using this gloss on my upper lip alone and I found the gloss really easy to use, whereas I found the Soap & Glory version a little painful at first.
At £19.99 for a 7ml bottle, you can make a noticeable impact to your look without the need for salon prices.
