On Thursday evening I was invited down to Queen Hair & Beauty, situated in the heart of town, to have a look around the newly opened salon and to pamper myself! The salon is housed over three floors, with the salon on the ground floor, an amazing hair academy on the second and a tranquil beauty room on the top floor. I love the layout of the salon and the colour scheme is really fresh and bright – the plush royal blue and white is really amazing and not overly clinical like a lot of salons can be!
It was a lovely evening with the blogger girls and we were treated to wine, snacks, gel manicures, blow drys, up-do’s curly do’s and eyebrow threading! I had a gorgeous half up do, with a quiff at the top, curls and an adorable mini bow at the back – I felt like a prom queen! I also had a gorgeous pink glitzy gel manicure and my eyebrows threaded, two things I had never had before but am now fully converted to!
As well as amazing pampering treats, local Brighton based brand Victoria Green and her beauty bags were on show for us to peruse! Victoria Green is a British textile and home product designer with over 20 years experience, having designed for some of the high streets biggest brands, including Laura Ashley, The White Company, Heal’s and M&S! Recently launched in Debenhams, the brand is really lovely with a great range of beauty bags, and the hanging bags in particular are really amazing. We were each kindly gifted a bag and the Victoria Green Floral Print Threefold Hanging Bag is a very nifty creation and is perfect for my teeny uni room!
The lovely Lyndsay organised the event and put together a lovely goody bag including bits from The Body Shop, Green People, Almond Breeze, Argania, Victoria Green, Bee Good and Beverly Hills Formula.
Thanks Queen Hair & Beauty for a really lovely evening, i’ll definitely be back soon!
