I recently purchased a few pieces off of Feel Unique with a voucher I had (see what else I got, here) and I also added the Maybelline 24Hour Color Tattoo in 70-Metallic Pomegranate to my basket. I love the formula of the Maybelline Color Tattoos as they are long-lasting, pigmented and really creamy but set in place well. I love how they work beautifully as a base or alone as a simple wash of colour. I love a warm plummy shade, and I find purple toned eye products work well with my blue eyes. Metallic Pomegranate is a reddy/browny/purple shade (similar to MAC’s Cranberry but in cream form), with subtle gold flecks running throughout. I love how in some lights is looks totally different, and I’ve been loving pairing it with MAC’s shadow in Sketch for a perfect autumn eye!
Another Maybelline eye product that has made it’s way back to me is the Great Lash Mascara in Very Black. This was the very first mascara I ever purchased myself in my teens and I wore and repurchased it religiously. On a 3for2 whim in Superdrug I decided to give it another go, and I forgot how lovely it is! I had forgotten just how dainty and dinky the brush is, but it makes grabbing those inner and lower lashes so easy and mess free!
