When I attended the Bourjois summer event a few weeks ago we were given a gorgeous goody bag containing a few up and coming releases. One product that caught my eye in particular are the Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof Eyeliner Pencils.
Swatches top to bottom: 54 Ultra Black, 57 Up and Brown, 46 Bleu Neon, 59 Dynamint. |
These eyeliners are super gorgeous, with similar formulas to the Urban Decay 24/7 liners and the Rimmel Scandal Eyes Liners. The liners are really creamy and soft, but not too soft and even when you sharpen them they don’t go blunt. They wear really well and once you’ve smudged them out or created your look, the liner sets and does not budge until removed. These liners are fab for the waterline because of their waterproof properties, and boy oh boy do they stay put! Waterproof wise, you won’t sweat these liners off and they won’t run down your face if it rains, but I doubt they’re completely pool/swim proof.
There are a great range of shades, and at just £4.99 a pop they’e fab and all the colours are so vivid and exactly as advertised. The shade 46 Bleu Non is amazing, and looks great in the waterline, or done with a wing as an alternative to black. The shade 57 Up and Brown also worked well as a cream shadow and is so easy to use, just draw onto eyelid, smudge out as desired and maybe line the top lash line and you’re sorted!
Have any of you tried the Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof eyeliners? Would you be brave enough to pull off a bright coloured liner look? What’s your favourite eyeliner pencil?
