I’ll admit when I’m online window shopping, or online shopping, I never think to look at House of Fraser, or similar sites. However, they have many affordable highstreet brands such as Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins, Little Mistress, Wal-G, Warehouse and loads of affordable brands that are sometimes harder to track down in stand alone shops. I also find their sizes stay in stock longer (because people forget to look there) and sale shopping is therefore a breeze!
I haven’t yet ventured into the world of maxi or midi style clothing, even though it’s been around for ages now, with the fear that they will make my already short and stumpy legs and body, look even more so. However I just thought, oh why not! I love maxi dresses as they look so put together and can be easily dressed up or down, and with a family holiday just around the corner this seemed like the perfect chance to try one out!
I think Miss Selfridge and House of Fraser have an amazing selection of summer maxi dresses and this Floral Double Layer Maxi Dress * caught my eye in particular. I think the double layer is really flattering and the print and the saucy split make for a stunning dress!
I’m not a #fblogger so OOTD type posts are pretty out of my comfort zone, and I am awful at posing in photos! I took these on my holiday in Kos, where this dress was perfect for the evenings, especially after days where my legs has gotten a little burnt….
Am I the only one who hasn’t been brave to venture into the maxi/midi trend? Do you look to House of Fraser for affordable brands and deals?
