Models Own Lovin’

When I saw Models Own had launched another 50% sale because they hit a milestone of 250,000 followers on Facebook, I just had to take a look and make a few purchases..I think I restrained myself as I only walked away with four nail polishes, one nail art pen and one nail polish duo. I love the consistency and formula of Models Own nail polishes, I haven’t yet had one let me down!

I’ve seen swatches and reviews of the HyperGel range popping up here, there, and everywhere so I wanted to try some out as they promise high pigment, a long lasting and chip resistant gel finish and went for Naked Glow, and Blue Glint. Naked Glow reminds me of Barry M’s Lychee (although I don’t own it) and is a perfect every day nude that creates a polished finish. Blue Glint is a perfect bright and deep sky blue.

Now I know my reason for purchasing the pink nail polish Sophie’s Pink, from the Tropical range, might seem a bit silly, but I just had to have a noil polish that had my name in the title, and you can’t go wrong with a good old traditional bright pink!

I also picked one of the shades from the Ice Neon collection, Pukka Purple, the brightest purple you will ever see and I love the packaging. A frosted bottle with a matching purple lid, er yes!

I love nail art blogs and instragam photos of fun nail art so when I saw that this white nail art pen would only cost me £3 I thought it would be a great place to start! To follow on with the nail art idea, the Artstix Nail Polish Duo caught my eye. A nail polish on one end and a coordinating accent nail glitter on the other? Perfect. I chose the shade Freak Betty, a gorgeous navy blue polish and a glitter with chunky flecks of pale blue, dark blue, silver and pinks.

Did any of you manage to pick up any bargains in the Models Own 50% sale? What are you favourite Model’s Own shades?
