So, I was on a spending ban, but then exams finished and I thought I deserved a treat or two, and I needed to pick up a few boring necessities such as shower gel and toothpaste, exciting stuff eh, so of course I got distracted by a gazillion products and oops a haul is now happening..
After hearing so many rave reviews about the Oribe Dry Texturising Spray it had been placed on my mental wishlist but not purchased because of the extortionate price for a hair product. When I heard Amelia of Liana Beauty mention the Charles Worthington Volume and Bounce Texturing spray was very similar, and that she preferred the CW version, it was a done deal. When I popped into boots there was a great offer on Charles Worthington products, buy any two for £8! Seeing as the spray itself was £6.99, it was a great deal. I’ve been meaning to try out a new heat spray, so the Strength and Repair Heat Defence Spray also made its way into my basket. Whilst I was in Superdrug the same day, a deal on the L’Oreal Everpure products caught my eye, at 1/3 off, I picked up the L’Oreal Everpure Reinforcing Intense Mask for Coloured and Dry Hair for £4.66.
Make-up wise I didn’t go too crazy and only walked away with two products. I’ve read many a rave review about the Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer, so thought I would lose my S&G cosmetics virginity and try out the kit in ‘light’. I adore the packaging, and included is a three-piece concealer kit with a pressed powder and two different toned concealer colours. I also picked up the new L’Oreal Miss Manga Mega Volume Mascara, which upon getting home I realised I had in fact picked up the mascara in the purple shade, ahh!!! I had been so, so excited so was a little miffed that I had wasted £8.99, as I only realised after I had unwrapped the packaging and the seal. Not a happy bunny, especially as the wand looks amazing!
The other day my £20 Superdrug vouchers that I got for signing up to Sun+ for only £1 arrived, so off I trotted to Superdrug. I bought three of the Maybelline Colorsensational Shine Glosses in the shades 105 Cashmere Rose, 130 Fuschia Flash and 150 Pink Shock. I Have reviews of these coming up on my blog soon so I won’t give too much away, but wow these are gorgeous! Maybelline also currently have 3for2 on their products! I also repurchased my signature lippy colour, 180 Vintage Pink from the Rimmel Moisture Renew range! And finally, I picked up the right colour, the black shade, of the new L’Oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga mascara! phew.
Have any of you been shopping recently, what have you picked up that you love?
