I have a storage box in my room where hair products I have seem to end up, and quite frankly, go to die, mainly down to my lack of organisation. That makes me sound like an awful blogger, oops. Sadly, this happened to what turned out to be, the amazing, John Frieda Frizz Ease 3-Day Straight* that I was given in April.
To be honest, I was quite apprehensive of a product claiming to create visibly straighter hair for up to 3 days (or until my next shampoo), but this miracle hair spray did not disappoint! This semi permanent styling hair spray aims to transform curly, frizzy hair into a smooth style that lasts up to 3 days. Its revolutionary heat-activated formula with keratin protein wraps each strand to seal in longer-lasting straightness without weighing down, as well as protecting hair against heat damage and blocking frizz. As well as being safe for coloured or chemically treated hair.
To use, simply spray the styling spray throughout damp or wet hair, (not dry hair) with about 7-15 sprays depending on amount of curl, hair length, and thickness. Then comb to distribute the product evenly and blow dry straight. Finish by using hair straighteners.
I really enjoyed using this hair product as it didn’t make my hair look ratty and thin- which my hair often looks when straightened. Instead it made my hair look as though it had been professionally blow dried and lasted right until my wash on my third day. After I had done it on the first day, a few of my housemates even thought I had done something new with my hair, which is always a good thing, and for such a cheap product, well worth it!
One bottle of spray lasted me a fair few uses and this typically retails for around £6.99 from Boots and Superdrug.
Have any of you tried this hair product? What are your tips for thick, straight hair and how do you maintain it for a few days?
