Days Three and Four – The Paris Diaries

After the excitement of our first two days in Paris (post here),on our third day, the Sunday,we decided to have a more relaxed day. In France, the majority of things are shut on a Sunday, so after some research we decided to head to Le Marais, the Jewish Quarter. We slowly ambled up the beautiful streets and looked around a few of the shops. We then walked to Bastille, another gorgeous part of Paris, for a little sit down and some late afternoon cocktails! As it was our last night we decided to find a nice restaurant near to our hostel and we had a yummy dinner, with snails to start! The place was filled with locals and was so so tasty! After we stopped by the Moulin Rouge for some photos!

Monday was our last day, but luckily our train home was at 6:15pm so we basically had another full day! We started the day off by visiting the stunning Notre Dame and admiring the beautiful stained glass windows. We then hopped back onto the metro and got off at the Trocadero station as our guide book said that you get the most incredible photos of the Eiffel Tower, and wow we really did!

We also had a yummy last lunch, just along from the Eiffel Tower down some back streets! We then headed back to Montremartre, where we were staying, to pick up some last minute souvenirs and to pick up our suitcases!

Hope you enjoyed these little posts, I should have a haul post coming along soon too!
