I’ve been hearing about Headmasters a fair bit lately and when I was invited to be pampered by them with their recent Treat Time promotion to celebrate their 5 year anniversary, I couldn’t resist. I’ve been blonde-ish since June/July and the grow back and roots had been killing me towards the end of summer. So this was the perfect opportunity to go back to a soft, natural brown! I was booked in for an appointment with the amazing art director, Ollie, and I couldn’t wait. (Just a warning the photo’s in this post are all pretty horrible – I was having too much of a good time and forgot!)

When I arrived at the salon I was immediately acknowledged and seated with a glass of bubbly and a yummy chocolate and within minutes Ollie was with me discussing what I wanted. He was super helpful as when I suggested going a fairly dark brown, he said that what he had in mind would probably suit my eyes and skin tone more – the perfect honesty. I would much prefer if more hairdressers and stylists did this, of course the customer wants hair that accentuates their eyes and skin tone. We agreed on a fairly light to medium brown with some really subtle lighter shades which were applied at an angle to appear more natural. A few of these were also placed around my hairline and my face which look stunning! Ollie then curled my hair into a beautiful subtle wavey look and I practically bounced out of the salon afterwards. Leaving a salon feeling confident in your new do is the best feeling!
Thanks so much to the amazing Brighton Headmasters Team* and the very talented Ollie! They offer very reasonable cut and colours and the salon is super fun, so if you’re in Brighton I’d really recommend to pop in! They also have salons in other locations and around London
A slightly cheesy photo on the train back home afterwards. |
