So I’ve unintentionally had a little 6 day break from blogging- and I am so happy to finally be back! I moved back to Brighton on Wednesday (18th) and we only just got internet yesterday…so blogging hasn’t been easy. That combined with catching up with my friends, my user profile on my laptop becoming corrupted and a gazillion other things- I’ve been having a great time! So what have I been doing?
On Wednesday I I also met up with the gorgeous Laura (@lolaandbehold) and had a lovely catch up at a French Connection shindig in town. Then last Thursday myself and a few friends popped along to the Co-Op tweet4atable thang that was in Brighton for the week. To win a free dinner and glass of wine, you just had to tweet the tweet4atable twitter account with a place/date and amount of people and if you were lucky you got a scrummy dinner/lunch! There was a great selection of burgers, as well as a prawn pasta dish and a vegetarian pie dish! We had a great little meal, and being students appreciated the free dinner with no strings attached. For anyone who is interested I think they are currently in Manchester! I chose a burger with chorizo with mozzarella, and all the burgers came with THE yummiest chips and a bit of macaroni cheese! We also got a cute glass of wine too!
On the Friday I had an appointment at the Brighton Headmasters Salon to celebrate their 5 year anniversary and a special 2 week promotion called treat time. I was spoilt with a glass of bubbly, a lovely hair treatment and a gorgeous cut and colour with the talented Ollie. I am now back to brunette, and I am BEYOND happy/in love with my new/normal colour, it’s been a long awaited transition! Keep your eyes peeled for a hair update post asap!
On Saturday I went to Itunesfestival as I had won tickets to see HAIM. the one band who I had said I would die to see over summer, and when I won tickets I even had to take a puff of my inhaler when I found out I had won tickets, I got that excited… I took my lovely friend Ella and we had a tasty little dinner, a few drinks and a great dance about. Haim are pretty much one of the best bands I’ve ever seen live, and the fact they love Percy Pigs just seals the deal.
We also had our house warming party on Monday night which got a little busier than we had anticipated, but we all had a great time and I have no doubts whatsoever that I am about to have the best year ever, I am just so SO excited for everything.
So that’s what I’ve been up to the past week – what’ve you been up to? Have any of you moved to/back to uni, hows it going?
