I often forget that Boots is actually a pharmacy, so I thought I would check out some other pharmacy websites to see what make-up and brands they offered! I took a look at Lloyds Pharmacy* and I was pleasantly surprised to see they stocked some make-up brands, as well as some great deals on perfumes etc. I was contacted and asked to select a few items from the website to try out. I wanted to buy a lot!
In this current heat and after my holiday, my eczema is going mental, so I had a look under the eczema section and was happy to see a wide array of products ranging from spf, to shower gels. I chose an 150ml Oilatum Bath Formula, as I used to use this when I was younger and it was really effective! I also chose the Eau Thermal Avene Shaving Gel as I have sensitive skin and because of this weather I want to get my legs out, so it was perfect!
I decided to treat myself and so I chose two pairs of eyelashes and I thought I would try out the Eylure Girls Aloud lashes and chose the Cheryl and Nadine lashes. Both perfect for day and night, without looking too OTT but still providing long, voluminous, gorgeous lashes. These have perfect thin, flexible bands, great for easy application! These are my sort of lashes!!
I also decided to get another Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent as my current one is on its way out and I needed another one. Lastly for my holiday again, I chose the Touch of Silver Brightening Shampoo so save my new lighter hair from going yellow/green! I’ve used this a handful of times so far and found that this purple shampoo has slightly reduced some of the brassy tones I have and lightened some blonder areas. Overall this is a bargain product!
All of these products came to under £30 and I picked up a few decent items that I can’t wait to try out, keep an eye out for reviews!
Do you use Lloyds Pharmacy for beauty/health products? Do you use any other pharmacys other than Boots/Superdrug?
