I love checking out all the beauty websites for bargains, and whilst looking at Fragrance Direct the other day, I noticed they had a few regular sized, 15ml Essie polishes down from the retail price of £7.99 to £1.99! And it’s not like there were only yucky shades available, there were a range of gorgeous summery colours, including the much lusted after Bikini So Teeny, Cascade Cool and Off the Shoulder! (I think these are from the 2012 summer collection). This post is also my 200th published post on this blog, wow! Thanks for sticking around everyone!
I love Essie polishes for their gorgeous colour selection and amazing quality, mixed with a perfect brush. I love Essie brushes as I find one swipe and my whole nail is perfectly coated. I find the formula dries quickly too.
220A Cascade Cool is a creamy, sweet, dusty pink. This shade is very girly and summery, and is quite fresh looking.
223A Off The Shoulder is a perfect clean, bright, summer pink. It looks slightly neon in some lights and would look perfect with a tan! This pink is slightly peachy/coral/orange toned and is perfect!
219A Bikini So Teeny has been raved about by everybody and their nan. But when I saw it for just a measly £1.99 I just has to try it out myself! This pretty lavender-blue shade is perfectly opaque (like most Essie polishes) after 2 coats. This shade also has subtle flecks of iridescent glitter running through which show up in the bottle but once on the nails add a very very pretty subtle sparkley shine.
Overall I love the three shades I bought, and I can see myself wearing these all summer long!
