Rimmel lately have been taking the highstreet/drugstore market by storm, and with good reason! They have some amazing foundations, powders, blushers, eyeliners and mascaras and after their recent-ish launch (not that recent, oops) of their Scandal eyes Kohl liners, came the release of their Eyeshadow Sticks. These eyeshadow sticks had been on my wishlist for months since their release, but it was only on a recent trip to Boots that I actually picked one up!
I chose the shade 002 Bulletproof Beige, a stunning champagne shade, that looks gorgeous used as a wash by itself all over the lid, as a base, or with a darker colour blended into the crease. This colour also works nicely as a highlight. I wore this the other night when I went out. I applied a layer of this to my eyelid, and then popped some of Stila’s Kitten over that and then some Smog and Darkhorse from the Naked palette, and it looked really pretty! As usual though I completely forgot to take a photo!
These eyeshadow sticks claim to last24hour and claim to be waterproof, which I can’t say I have tested! But I find it lasts around 8 hours throughout the day. And works perfectly all night as a base! With this product you really don’t want to cake it onto your lids as it is then more likely to crease. However, when blended out on its own, this looks beautiful!
