Denman Tangle Tamer : Review

I know i’m a bit rubbish at blogging lately etc, i’ve been feeling a bit rundown and i’ve just been enjoying spending time with my friends, throwing myself into semester 2 and working, i promise i’ll try and blog a bit more regularly!

As i said in my ‘what i bought with my £50 Amazon voucher courtesy of Daxon’ (link) i said that i bought a Denman Tangle Tamer. I was pretty intent on getting a tangle teezer, but the price was around £10, and this tangle tamer has a very handy brush handle. I bought this Denman Tangle Tamer for £5.95 from Amazon in a hot pink/neon pink colour. Super girly. Denman are a well-know brand of hair brushes and so i was eager to try this version against the much hyped about tangle teezer!

This tangle tamer claims to be a ‘fast and gentle way to detangle children’s hair without the tears. The bright pink handle of this Tangle Tamer makes it every little girl’s favourite accessory. With super-soft nylon bristles, the brush gently glides through the hair, removing all tats and tangles. The air-cushioned pad follows the contour of the head for smooth damage-free grooming.’ I know it is aimed at young girls, but it still works wonders on my hair.

I opted for this version after reading reviews (i love Leanne-Marie’s review), and i am glad i did. After comparing it with my mum’s tangle teezer, i prefer the bristles on the Denman one and i find it detangles with a lot more ease as they are longer and more flexible, instead of being so rigid and tough like the tangle teezer. The handle is also so so so much easier!

Overall i love this, whether it is to use on my hair wet, or when it is knotty after sleeping on it overnight etc! Or for any tangles i get during the day! I wouldn’t say this is just for little girls, us  adults can enjoy this too!

Have any of you tried the Denman Tangle Tamer, what did you think? Any other good de-tangling tips?
