I was sent this Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Grow Lash Complex + Fibres Mascara* in 001 Black to try ahead of the release, and i have been trialling it for a week or so now and have been really enjoying it, so i thought i would share my thoughts. First up, if you didn’t know, i love mascara’s. So much so that i have 20+ now and that competition to make my Top 5 mascara list is pretty fierce. (again just a warning about rubbish camera quality, i’m having to use my Iphone 3gs atm, and its not amazing!)
This mascara forms part of the Lash Accelerator collection and features similar packaging to the original Lash Accelerator Mascara as the casing features a similar yellow chrome and black design. I’m not such a fan of the bright yellow, it reminds me of a highlighter, but you wouldn’t lose it in your make-up bag and i like the overall sleek shape and feel of the packaging.I also love how the lid twists and clicks shut very securely, oh the simple things.
The Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara uses Rimmel’s exclusive grow-lash complex of Procapil, Keratin, antioxidants and fibres. Procapil is a new, natural solution that fights the hair follicle ageing process, strengthening hair from the root and preventing hair loss.
Keratin is made up of fibrous proteins and is the key structural material in making up the outer layer of human skin and hair
This mascara ensures that lashes appear up to 99% longer. The original version claimed lashes would appear 80% longer, so its nice to see the newer version including even more length! I love the concept of the grow-lash complex, although i will have to assess my lashes over a longer period of time to see if this is true. am quite a fan of plastic mascara wands and this one is slightly tapered and the end is nice and narrow, perfect to reach inner and outer lashes.
Whilst i normally prefer volume over length, i have really enjoyed using this and have been going for the more lengthened than volumised look. I found the mascara created lovely, fluttery long black lashes with some volume. I also found it separated lashes beautifully and looked gorgeous on the bottom lashes.
I believe this mascara will be available in black and brown from around the 20th of February 2013 retailing for £7.99
Are any of you mascara/make-up junkies excited to see this mascara hit shops?
