Bit of a different post for you today and i am aware it may not be of interest to a fair few of you, but to some of you this might be interesting and it makes a slight change from the usual stuff i feature on here! This year i want to feature more of my hobbies and more lifestyley posts, so here goes!
On the 31st December at midday i went on a tour of the Madejski Stadium, the home of Reading FC, with my dad, as my Christmas present to him from me! My dad’s been a Reading fan ever since he was a child, and the same in my case so i knew we would both enjoy this! We met outside the Megastore just before midday and we were met by our tour guide and our tour group of around 15 people and we headed inside the stadium. We were shown the trophy room, the boxes, where the director’s sit, the away changing rooms, the home changing rooms, the warm up room, the physio room, the players lounge, the tunnel and the dug out! The tour was around 1hour 15 minutes long and it was very interesting and we managed to take a lot of photo’s, so i thought i would share them with you. After the tour we got a little goody bag with a photo of the team, a puzzle, a fridge magnet, a 10% off voucher for the megastore and some leaflets and bits. We also got to keep the Stadium Tour Pass thing we wore as well, which was quite nice.

This made a fab present and it was very affordable too, £12 for an adult and £7 for a Concession (under 21, over 65), and when i booked the tour, there was an offer for season ticket holders of buy one get one half price. So for both of us it came to £15.50! I think any football fan would love this sort of thing!
My dad also had a £10 voucher to spend in the store and bought me a pack of 3 Reading FC shot glasses and a Reading FC bottle opener key ring! Handy for uni!
Overall it was really interesting and lovely to see the stadium and all the bits hidden away, as well as spending some quality time with my daddy! I’ve had a lovely time at home this Christmas and enjoyed spending so much time with my family and friends!
