I thought for today’s post i would share with you my November favourites, as i haven’t done one of these since August! Again i must apologise for the poor photos, lighting is pretty rubbish when i get in around 4-5pm after uni!
First up is the Famous First Date Blusher in Penelope. I have been wearing this practically everyday and no sign of a dip is showing, so that is great. This massive blusher looks set to last me a very very long time. However the other day i dropped it, picked it up and heard a rattle and thought uh-oh it’s broken. I don’t know about you, but do any of you feel nervous looking inside a blush/shadow/bronzer after you’ve dropped it? As soon as i see a crack or pieces floating, my heart drops a little. I must stop getting so attached to products – it still works just the same! Anyway, wow that was a tangent, this beauty retails for just £4.99 and i believe is currently on offer for 3for2, i might just have to buy the other 3…
Next is the Benefit They’re Real! mascara which i bought off of Buyapowa (review and photo’s here). I love the lengthening volumising and lifting of this mascara and i have been using this everyday since i bought it, neglecting all my other favourite mascaras. This is definitely my favourite mascara now and i will almost definitely be repurchasing!
I have also been loving this Topshop Lipstick in ‘Innocent’, (photos and swatches here) i love the gorgeous neutral/pale pink shade and have been reaching for it daily, whether with a neutral daytime eye look, or paired with a more heavy night-time look.I love a creamy, super-pigmented gloss and the MUA Intense Kisses, High Intensity Gloss’s are no exception. I have been loving the colour ‘Sealed With a Kiss’, especially layered over the Topshop Lipstick in ‘Innocent’. For £2 you cannot go wrong and these feel so high end, a perfect stocking filler for Christmas too!
I know i am a bit late to the party with this one, but i have also been loving my Naked Palette which i bought for a bargain of £17 (RRP £36!!) off of Lauren_Alice on Twitter and i have been using this and playing around with it lots! I especially love the shades Sin and Hustle and this palette has been reached for for nights out and everyday looks!
Lastly i have been loving the Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Liners in 005 Nude and 001 Black. I love using the nude wine to open up my eyes and to make me look awake after nights out, and i love using the black on my waterline and smudged along my top lashes. For £3.99 these are a steal and in my opinion rival the UD 24 hour liners!
Also for my non beauty favourites, i love the fact that it is now December, there is no escaping my Christmas cheer and i can’t wait to get home, eat mince pies, see my friends and family, eat lots and drink mulled wine!
