For Christmas i got a lot of gorgeous presents and some items i had been lusting after forever. One present i received from my parents was the Clinique Whole Lotta Colour Chubby Stick Set, containing 5 1.2g chubby sticks in gorgeous colours! The colours included were 07 Super Strawberry, 12 Oversized Orange, 14 Curvy Candy, 01 Richer Raisin and 05 Chunky Cherry. I love the names and they are all fabulous colours. These lip products have a twistable bottom, so no sharpening and are perfect for on the go and are easy to apply, even without a mirror! You pay £16 for one 3g chubby stick, or £20 for this set, which contains 5 1.2g chubby sticks. (normally £30, currently on offer in Boots).
I have tried the Revlon Kissable Balm Stains and those are known to be a dupe of the Chubby Sticks, so i was excited to try the original Clinique version! Known be be a moisturising lip colour balm that add a sheer wash of colour that can be built up, you can’t go wrong with these!
The packaging of this set is gorgeous, housed in a neon pink box embossed with Clinique in Silver, with a slidey silver try with a pink ribbon, so perfect and pretty! (in the photos it looks a sort of hot pink but in real life trust me, it is NEON pink, the natural light here is basically non existent, so i had to make do with some flashified photos, sorry!)

07 Super Strawberry is one of the best selling shades of Chubby Sticks in the USA and is a gorgeous light berry pink/red that would look fabulous night or day and on a range of skintones! 12 Oversized Orange is a wonderfully orange shade that has a slight shimmer that would be gorgeous in the summer with a tan, after this fades a little it turns a little more peachy and i can’t wait to whack this out in the spring and summer months! 14 Curvy Candy is one of my favourites in the set (although i do love them all) and i find myself reaching for this shade more than others as it is a bright yet pale and slightly yellow toned pink, a shade of lipstick i tend to always gravitate towards! 01 Richer Raisin isn’t a shade i would normally choose to wear, and to me it seems the more mature shade out of the set, however this isn’t a bad thing and i am sure it will come in handy as i have nothing like it. Lastly in the set is 05 Chunky Cherry,a stunning fuchsia cherry red colour that whilst with one coat adds a lovely layer of sheer colour, it can be build up to a most lovely lip colour.

I absolutely loved using these and they’re so easy to chuck in your bag or in a clutch for a night out and are a dream to apply whilst lasting a couple of hours. However the only downfall for me is the price, i would never pay £16 for one, and the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains are a more than satisfactory equivalent/dupe. However i absolutely loved receiving this set as a present as i would not normally buy these myself because of the price tag! Thanks to my parents 🙂
