So I’m not the biggest haircare person in the world. I like a nice shampoo and conditioner, i like a heat protector and thats about it. I sort of got a bit adventurous when i tried out the VO5 Miracle Concentrate, but then i got lazy and neglected it and that is as far as me and hair products go. That was until the other day i was rummaging around in our airing cupboard looking for something when i came across the ‘VO5 Heat Defence Volume Whipped Mousse’. I was feeling a bit crazy and after my recent hair cut i thought what the heck, it is time for something a bit different! I tried this out having no expectations and now i’m obsessed with all things haircare. Me and VO5 have been pretty good buddies for a while, i love the dry shampoo, miracle concentrate and the shampoo and conditioners. But after this discovery we are best friends. £3.89 for a 200ml can, this bad boy is a steal.

It claims to:

-Long lasting firm hold
-Heat activated – helps protect from heat damage
-Doesn’t weigh down hair, non sticky
And my oh my does it do just that! I have medium length hair and put about (as much as show in the photo) in my hair, shaking the can a lot first. I distribute it evenly though my hair when it is damp, starting at the roots and working through my hair. I then blow dry upside down whilst styling a little with a brush. And when you tip your head up the normal way, bam. At first i did look like i had been electrocuted. But after getting used to it and slightly styling it, i adore it. My hair is bouncy and looks thicker, fuller and plumped! I love the fact it has heat defence too, what more could you want? I also love the lightweight, fluffy consistency of the mousse and this mousse has reawakened my love for all things hair!
