September Shesaid Beauty Box: Skincare September

I know i am very later to jump on the beauty box bandwagon, but i have been researching beauty boxes for a while, with the help of this article and various other bloggers reviews. I decided that as an August Beauty Resolution, from now onwards, every month i will try out a new box!  First up i thought i would try the Shesaid Beauty Box, for £9 a month + £2.95 pp, this seemed alright. However if you are new to She Said Beauty you can receive 25% off your first box with ‘SSB25OFF’. Or receive 10% off a 3 month subscription by entering ‘SSB03’ or for 20% off a 6 month subscription enter ‘SSB06’. This was the perfect opportunity and i used the £25% off code, meaning i only paid £9.70 for this box!

Signing up was easy, i filled in a profile too, and had a little page. I also got regular e-mails informing me of dispatch dates etc, which was lovely too. As soon as it arrived (2 days after the dispatch e-mail) i ran upstairs and i couldn’t wait to open it! I was so impressed. The beauty box itself came in a hot pink box, inside which was the gorgeous beauty box itself. The box itself is a gorgeous Tiffany blue green colour  with lovely detailing on 2 corners (hard to see in the photo). It also has a magnetic flap, so fancy! Upon opening this there was some pink tissue paper, a pink ribbon and a cute SheSaid sticker. After opening this, were the products and some cards highlighting what the products were, with sizes, prices and appropriate discounts too!

The card inside highlights that this boxes theme is ‘skincare September’, which is fabulous for me as i can be pretty useless on the skincare front and this is why i signed up, so i could get introduced to new amazing products!

What i first saw upon opening the box were the PopChips in the flavour original. When my box arrived i was about to eat lunch, so i wolfed these down and they were yummy. I’d say they taste just like the original pom-bears but with a bit more flavour! These claim to have only 46 calories a bag and these were included as an extra treat, retailing at £0.79 for a 23g bag or £1.89 for a 85g bag. I received an 11g bag, which was perfect enough!

After this i was VERY excited to see two Collection (not Collection 2000 anymore) products, and two full size ones at that. The box included a full size, 18ml Primed & Ready Smoothing Make-Up Primer, retailing for £5.99 and a Fix Me Up Long Lasting Make-Up Fixer, again a full size 18ml products retailing for £5.99. These two products total £11.98 which is more than what i paid for this box, so already with just these two products, the box is worth it. Another bonus is that i had been looking at these the other day and was interested in them. I can’t WAIT to try these out and review them.

Another full sized product, was the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil. I hadn’t heard of this brand before, but i have heard fab things about cleansing oils, so i was very happy to see this included. This bottle is a full size 30ml bottle which retails for £3.50. The card describes this as an ‘amazing cleanser from Japan that thoroughly dissolves dirt, excess oil and colour cosmetics- even waterproof mascara- and other pore-cloggers ordinary cleansers leave behind, then rinses completelty off with water, leaving your skin fresh, never greasy‘. The card also offers a £5 discount with a minimum spend of £25 on DHC.

I also received a Ginvera Green Tea Whitening Marvel Gel. ‘This gentle yet effective exfoliating action zero-s out blackheads thoroughly and painlessly and helps remove deep layers of dead skin’. This brand also offers a 20% discount off of this product if you buy this and the Dark Eyes Circle Roll Away. I really can’t WAIT to try this out! I received a 10ml sample and the full size 60ml product retails for £22. This sample retails for £3.67!

Last but not least i received a 10ml sachet of the Amie Spring Clean Cooling Clay Mask. A 15ml sachet retails for £1.50 and a 75ml for £4.95. This is ‘a wonderfully refreshing deep-cleaning mask that draws out deep-seated dirt and impurities while soaking up excess oil and helping prevent blemishes. Cools and refreshes, leaving skin feeling really clear, clean and smooth’.

Overall i was SOSOSO impressed with this box and i will definitely look into a subscription with this service. I can’t wait to try out every single product and i don’t feel that there are any products in here that i won’t be trying! Excellent box and amazing delivery. I definitely give SheSaid Beauty Box 5 Sophiehearts!

The total amount of this box retails at around £21 (if my maths is correct… ahah) which is just amazing!

Did any of you recieve this box, what did you think?
