So a few weeks ago, when i started Top 5 Tuesday’s, i said i would start Nails Of The Week Wednesdays, however i have been lazy and my nails a mess, so today i am finally going to be starting this regular post! Please excuse the scabby skin around my nails, its so gross!
On my nails today i have Maybelline Forever Strong Pro in 240 Lilac Charm (Currently £4.09 in Boots and on for 3for2) which is a gorgeous, true lilac, with hints of grey, which is why i think it would look fab in winter as well as the summer months! This is my first Maybelline Polish i have tried and i wasn’t blown at first, but after getting to grips with it, i did enjoy it. The brush was a long thin one, not the type of brush i am used to, but after getting to grips with it, i had no problems with application. For full opaqueness i found it needed 3 coats and so far it has lasted 3 days without chipping (with no topcoat either!). I really like this polish and i will definitely be picking up more! You can’t see in the photo but on my index finger (the one next the thumb, i think i got the right finger? aha), i like to put a glitter coat on top. For this i used the Models Own Polish in NP133 Indian Ocean from the Beetlejuice collection. Models own is currently buy one get the second half price in Boots! None of the photos i have really do the polish justice, but it looks GORGEOUS, on its own or on top of lilacy/blues or on top of coraly/pinky/reds! The most amazing glitter i own by far!
