August Favourites

So once again, another month has flown by and i am shocked that its practically SEPTEMBER, aghhh! August has been a good month, i’ve made a few little lovely purchases, although in this post my favourites probably won’t be anything new as i have either reviewed them or put them in a haul post or something!

Revlon Just bitten Kissable Balm Stains in015 Cherish and 045 Romantic – £5.99 (saving you £2 off the £7.99 RRP) . Revlon have been amazing this year and win the drugstore brand of the year contest for me! (if such a contest existed!)

Next are my mascara samples of Lancome Hypnose Star  (review link here) and YSL’s shocking Mascara,(review and link here) it is so amazing that i have got to try out 2 such AMAZING mascaras this month and i am seriously considering buying the full sizes of one!

Stila ‘In the Light Palette’, big review coming up on the 24th September on K A Thing of Beauty’s blog! I ADORE this palette, and i can’t think of a day since i received it that i haven’t used it. It has perfect colours for everyday, adding some colour and a gorgeous smoky eye! Lovelove this and i can’t wait to try out more Stila products! I got this off of BuyaPowa for £20ish i believe!

ST Moriz 200ml Fake Tan Lotion, -£4.37 (when i purchased it off Amazon)! I love this fake tan, and as i didn’t manage to get a natural tan this summer i have been resorting to faking it, and i love the look it creates! So natural and glowy! I even repurchased this with a £5 Amazon gift-voucher i won on the Gaymers music Facebook Page to buy a new one, perfect for taking to uni for freshers!

Mememe Beat the Blues Face illuminators in Moonbeam(mentioned here) and Sunbeam (mentioned here), you’re all probably fed up of me harping on and ON about these two, but i adore them and i have also been reaching for these every morning and i love them 🙂

Essie Polish in 26 ‘Status Symbol’, -£7.99 (mentioned here) I think this is one of the best nail polishes i have tried and my list of Essie nail polishes that i want is growing everyday, oops!

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream Samples, i really enjoyed trying out this BB cream and I am definitely going to purchase with my pay-cheque this month! (Review here)

Tresemme Instant Refresh Volumising Dry Shampoo – £4.79, (mentioned here) I love this dry shampoo, and after my VO5 one ran out at the beginning of the month, i have found myself reaching for this inbetween washes and feeling nicely refreshed with volumised hair.

Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama 24hour Gel Eyeliner – £7.99, I love this gel eyeliner and my sister ruined my first one i had, and i never got round to purchasing another. But the 3for2 on Maybelline enticed me and i am so happy to have it in my life again, so gorgeous!

E.L.F Wet Gloss Lash and Brow Clear Mascara – £1.50, as you can see this product has been well loved and i think it is time to buy another as it is looking a bit nasty! But for this price, this is something i do not mind doing at all. I love this and it keeps my brows looking gorgeous for even longer!

Overall August has been a great month for discovering a LOAD of amazing new products that i think will remain staple pieces in my make-up collection for a long time!

What have you enjoyed this month, what’s in your August favourites?
